National Association of Personnel Services

National Registry of Certified Staffing Industry Professionals

A Public Service of the Staffing Industry Certification and Education Leader

Since 1960, the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) has advanced a body of knowledge, professional and ethical standards and a continuing education program that has led to the establishment of the Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and Certified Temporary-Staffing Specialist (CTS) certificates, the two most widely respected credentials in the staffing industry. To date, the NAPS certification program, focusing on the employment laws that govern the staffing industry, has certified more than 20,000 professionals.

With the creation of the National Registry of Certified Staffing Industry Professionals (NRCSIP), NAPS is using its Internet home to provide information about the men and women who have achieved and maintain the CPC and CTS designations. This information is placed here to validate the credentials of staffing industry professionals by:

Candidates for employment and other public consumers of employment services

(permanent placement and temporary services)

Firms seeking permanent placement or temporary staffing services

Meaning of NAPS Certification

Since its founding NAPS has been committed to the advancement of professional and ethnical standards and to the quality of the work performed by individuals and firms in the industry. Men and women who have achieved the CPC and CTS designation(s) have committed themselves to those standards, studied the laws affecting employment in the United States and passed a national examination reflecting their command of this body of knowledge.

Those individuals certified since 1995 have made an additional commitment of ongoing continuing education in order to maintain their CPC and CTS designations. No other certification program in the American staffing industry is this thorough or this demanding in what it requires to achieve and maintain certification.

This registry represents a listing of those individuals who hold active Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and Certified Temporary-Staffing Specialist (CTS) certificates. Please note that NAPS certification represents a professional accomplishment of the individual who achieves and maintains certification status.

Consumers can search the registry database by the professional’s name, city or state.
